Another year of RoSPA success

Magnox Electric Ltd has been awarded the RoSPA Engineering Construction Sector Award 2008. It is the second year in a row that the company has been awarded the honour, recognising performance across the ten Magnox sites.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) presents the award for the most outstanding performance in health and safety by an organisation within a particular sector. Entrants must be able to demonstrate a robust and high quality safety management system together with a minimum of four years’ consistently excellent or continuously improving health and safety performance.

Steve Creamer, Chairman and CEO of Magnox Electric's parent body organisation, EnergySolutions, accepted the award at a ceremony in May.
